1. Iranian Film Festival – NFSA

Now in its seventh year, Iranian Film Festival Australia is the only nationwide Australian festival dedicated to Iranian cinema and forging cultural understanding between Iran and Australia.

2. ANCA Dickson Open Studios

Free Design Canberra Event! Explore six craft and design artist studios at ANCA in Dickson. Get involved, watch artists at work, chat with artists, purchase unique pieces, and try your hand at some new techniques. You’ll meet glass artist, Ruth Oliphant, textiles artist, Ruby Berry, the designer of sustainable fashion, Edition Label, contemporary jeweller, Phoebe Porter, photographer, Sean Davey and wildlife painter, Melissa Kamp.

3. Raw Canberra presents Transcend – Belconnen Arts Centre

The indie arts organisation for artists, by artists, RAW, focuses on spotlighting indie underground talent to the public. Six times a year in Canberra they hand-select and showcase 40+ artists in film, fashion, music, visual art, photography, performing art, hair and make up for a one night creative explosion!
