The National Photographic Portrait Prize 2017 is on tour. The first venue is the Blue Mountains City Art Gallery. The exhibition is selected from a national field of entries, reflecting the distinctive vision of Australia’s aspiring professional portrait photographers and the unique nature of their subjects.

Digital Photography with David Brazil
Saturday 29 July | 10am – 3pm | $150 / $145 (Insight Members)
In conjunction with the National Photographic Portrait Exhibition, the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre will be holding a one day hands on photography workshop led by local artist and photographer, David Brazil. Over the course of the day all participants will have a chance to try their hand at 3 practical demonstrations. David Brazil is a photographic artist and educator based in the Blue Mountains. His work has been exhibited at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre in 2013-2014 and he also exhibited as part of the HeadOn photo festival for the past 4 years.
